So much of Canada’s oil and gas conversation makes NO sense. But WHY is that? Well thanks to a WILD new report from Greenpeace Canada, the network of murky figures muddying these conversations about energy are coming into view:

I've seen everyone sharing that US Dialect Quiz so I decided to make my own, much crappier, CANADIAN DIALECT QUIZ to guess where in Canada you're from
A flow chart I have created with multiple questions and the answers determine where you're from.

Question 1 is do you call it a hydro bill (which then branches down to ON, QC, BC, MB) or an electric bill (which then branches down to SK, AB, NS, NB, PEI, NL)

Question 2 is do you call it a cabin (BC, MB, AB, SK) cottage (ON and atlantic) camp (northern Ontario) chalet (QC) or bungalow (Cape Breton)

To delineate BC from MB: do you call it dinner or supper

To delineate southern Ontario rural or big city: have you heard of a stag & doe

To delineate SK from AB: do you call a hoodie a bunnyhug

And finally to delineate NL from the other atlantic provinces: whaddayat? (Correct answer: dis is it b'y)

I watched The Killers (1946) and it was great. I chuckled at the scene where Burt Lancaster is mesmerized by Ava Gardner, completely oblivious to his girlfriend. It was the perfect prototype for the now classic “distracted boyfriend” meme.
Scene from The Killers - black and white film: scene in a night club with a dark haired woman in a gown singing and gazing into the distance while a man in a suit jacket looks over at her agape, and a blonde woman in a skirt set and hat looks at the man sideways, with a slightly frustrated expression.Classic distracted boyfriend meme- a young man looks over his shoulder at a woman walking by and the woman holding his hand looks at the back of his head with an exasperated expression.
