2/ He remained a bachelor and lived for music, and introduced me to a lifelong love of music across a very wide spectrum. Denis Brain playing the Rondo from Mozart’s 4th Horn C. in Eb maj. was my 1st intentional piece of music when I was 3. One of my earliest memories. For me, a #DesertIslandDisc 🥰

Is this what years ago I might have known as 'Boatman'? £29,000 a year is not enough to live on in Oxford. A new Empacher VIII costs £48,000-£58,000 ex-factory, or £57,000-£70,000 once VAT (20%), delivery, and specific options are included. Is the executive boatman(woman) not worth an Empacher?

Beatties was legendary! There was also a branch in Sheffield in the 1980s, which after Everybody's Hobbies in Ipswich (which we considered to be impressive enough!) was mind blowing. The turn of the Millennium was surely the nadir. Modelling is on the up again, though often a hidden vice....

@vincentdubois.bsky.social is Titular Organist of Notre Dame de Paris (1 of 3). Last wk fulfilled a long held ambition: of hearing him play, at Norwich Cathedral. His technique is amazing. Utterly still, his fingers barely stroking the keys. He began with this, my fave JSBach organ work, BWV 543

What Rubio says is perfectly true. But it is entirely irrelevant to inflicting war upon Iran, including targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, threats of genocide, and doing all without the Constitutionally-required authority of US Congress.
