They are human trafficking people. These are not deportations. They are done without due process which is illegal. Trafficking is moving people across state lines illegally. Call it what it is. Change their narrative.

I’m 17% of the way to my goal and it would be really lovely to get to at least 20% on this trans day of visibility. Considering that my visibility was a factor in how hard some cops threw my trans body into the pavement 😅😮‍💨

OH yeah sorry for the confusion, i currently own the 2014 and the one i wrecked was 2009

110

mickey @thundereater.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

no 😔 it was straight up at like 90k and i'd only had it a year. my only car crash and it was def scary. i miss that car quite a bit because it was lighter than my current car so it could accelerate like a beast (for an economy car, anyway)

110

mickey @thundereater.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

FELT yeah mine is a 2014 with 165k miles, my last car was a 2009 mazda3 as well but i wrecked it when i hit a deer :( very much enjoy this car though

mickey @thundereater.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

if i go hard for mazda over anything it's that they're one of the few companies still putting out fun new manual trans, before i found this car i was looking at like <2010 corollas and that's it

that's a wrap for gay cardinal winter Time for Butch Lesbian Spring (also featuring cardinals)

Two vividly orange female cardinals care diligently for their nest. One pauses mid-flight to share her foraging spoils with her partner; their interlocked beaks looking quite similar to a kiss. Her partner stands watch over their unusual clutch of eggs— each one a completely different size, shape and color. They rest soundly within the cranium of a warm human skull. A spray of pink and white flowers border the family, adding a sense of resilience and beauty.

sensory issues are unbelievably distracting and upsetting like that and trying to convince yourself that the bug isn't real even though you feel it acutely doesn't work

010

mickey @thundereater.bsky.social · 16/03/2025

if you don't have sensory issues, imagine being made to do a task when there is a huge bug crawling up your arm. you're told to ignore the bug even though it's starting to go into your shirt and you can see + feel it going around your body under your clothes

mickey @thundereater.bsky.social · 16/03/2025

lowkey giving up on my hope for getting any kind of gains because just basic shit requires a full agility course of mental gymnastics to get through

can't do these pushups because my brain is way too focused on the fact that i'm wearing shoes and i don't want to wear shoes but i have to because otherwise my feet will slip on the mat

it's a tough read, i start transgender warriors after it and just the forward / first few pages of ch1 reveal how true SBB was to feinberg's personal experiences. it really seems to be an embellished autobio which makes the darker moments hit so hard... good luck 🫡 (and hmu if u wanna talk abt it)

A professor of environmental sciences gives a quick punchy take on the "eye-popping" numbers re. how clean air promotes economic growth. An EPA analysis of 20 years of the Clean Air Act (1970-90) found the economic benefits of the regulations were about 42X greater than the costs. No pay wall.

America’s clean air rules boost health and the economy − here’s what EPA’s new deregulation plans ignore

Clean air has become one of America’s best investments, returning $10 for every $1 spent on regulations, by one estimate.

People with glasses and contacts have to realize that we have a disability that just happens to be highly accommodated for in modern society and that accommodation is the only reason why poor eyesight is not considered a disability.

i'm of the opinion that everyone benefits from interacting with different age groups, especially in person, but people can rarely be normal about it (and while there are a few topics that need to be catered / made developmentally appropriate, the actual number of those topics is quite small)
