The past couple months have been... strange. I've been quietly making progress on what I think will be my next game project, all while trying to juggle other obligations. Added challenge of working in Godot, and in 3D over Game Maker has definitely slowed me down, but I'm starting to see some payoff

Honestly, the whole game dev journey has been rocky as fuck, but I've never felt more "me" than when I'm working on or sharing my games. They may not have given me a clear path to financial stability, but I'll be damned if I ever stop trying to make it my life's work

Some basic quest and world event work done this week + some NPC logic to have them lead you through areas. Trying to find more organic ways to railroad certain portions without putting physical blockers in the world as much as I can help it #screenshotsaturday #solodev #gamedev #godot

At the beginning of this year I set a really aggressive goal to release a 3rd game. Realized I was prioritizing output over interest and passion and it’s shown in the outcomes of both Quantum Joe and Defense of the Dauntless.
