Don't rush it. We lost 3 kitties last year. When Sami passed Dad threw her bed out before I got home from the appointment. That hurt so much. When my Kaoru passed I took his beds up to my room immediately so he couldn't do the same thing. I still haven't put them away and it'll be a year next month.

Went to go meet some kitties today and they were cute, but I didn't feel pulled to any one in particular. I need a friend for Tama. Someone who likes to wrestle and run, but also likes to snuggle and have belly rubs. Kaoru left behind some big shoes to fill.

I met a kitty on Monday and I can’t stop thinking about him. Kinda want to go back and see him again before I make up my mind if I should apply. 1) I was there for birdseed and toys for Moka. 2) this kitty was in a crate by the cat toys and was reaching through the bars for me.

Had to text out today because I’ve lost my voice. Yesterday I went to work (masked) and had to talk so much that by the end of the day my voice was going. By dinner last night it was gone. Tomorrow we have a big program going on and they’ll need me. So hopefully vocal rest today helps.

My roommate saw me put more cheese onto a frozen pizza & it was like I unlocked something in him. I saw the wheels turning as he realized we don't have to settle for the default amount of cheese the pizza overlords offer us. What goes onto the frozen pizza is in our control. We have the power.

You know your Barnes and Noble is a mess when their computer says they have 3 copies of the book you want but neither the person you asked & the manager they asked can find it. My best boy is gone. He just had routine bloodwork done 2 weeks ago that came back normal. Yesterday he suddenly crashed. He developed a bladder blockage that ruined his kidneys. Even if they did surgery to remove the blockage, the damage was already done to his kidneys.
