Kiddo's bus pickup time this fall will be the earliest it's ever been. Still better than driving him the 25 miles to school, but not by as much as you'd think. If gas were a dollar less per gallon... being able to sleep til 6:15 rather than 5:15 could seriously sway me.

Things went about as well as could be expected. The guy showed up on time, listened to our side, then looked around for a few, concurring that this was much ado about nothing, then dumped a little something down our kitchen & bathroom drains to stifle fruit fly spawning. All in about 20 min.

Pest control can't come today, a day I have off. They have to reschedule for Monday, a day I do work. So I'll have to arrange to be late to work on Monday, all for some fleas that we don't even fucking have! Which means maintenance isn't going to replace our fucking screen until Monday.
