Shocking footage, captured by a covert RSPB camera, shows gamekeeper Russell Mason brutally killing a Goshawk in a crow cage trap in Perthshire.   After pleading guilty, today he was given a 200-hour Community Payback Order for killing the Goshawk and fined £890 for firearm offences.

I’ve been removing Rhododendrons from woods today. Highly invasive non-native and spread like wildfire if left uncontrolled. It’s an ongoing effort each year but we’re winning the battle! #ecology #environment #restoration #nature

Been surveying Dippers today with volunteers. Found 2 pairs along a stretch, consistent with previous years. Dippers are a good indicator of river quality and it’s important to keep the dataset going to aid in analysis. #birds #data #nature #walking #survey
