― day 4: stormblood "...But, in the end, I will always be of the sea." #yugiri 𔘓 #farronpose 𔘓 #xivwomenweek

a picture of yugiri and her younger self on the shores of the ruby beach. present-day yugiri is standing, her eyes closed as she gently holds a pink seashell. her younger self has her back turned to her, face obscured as she kneels down to reach for one of the yoshimitsu blades.

Yugiri Mistwalker was born in the underwater sanctuary of Sui-no Sato. As a child she ventured to inland Yanxia and met a boy named Shun who shared with her tales of Doma and oppression. When she joined the Liberation Front years later, she realized Shun was actually Hien Rijin

More Meteions, some cleaned up sketches.

A girl with wings on her head, called meteion, cries and holds a hand to the side of her head, the other persons hand is wiping away her tears. Around her is written. "Though I gave you wings to soar the heavens, I did not teach you to walk the earth. So loath was I to bind another living being. Upon your return, I shall gift you a beautiful flower."

Meteion in her boss form, huge starry wings, halo above her head, long black hair and black tears streaming from her eyes. "You will never reach it... You will never reach the deliverance you seek..."

A collection of Meteion flying around with winged arms, and showing a mix of emotions, crying, numb, holding a flower, smiling and winking at you.

Lastly she holds her hands together and smiles up at you, speaking from her mind. "Can we please be friends?"

💙Meteion💙

A blue girl, with feathered wings on her head, bird legs and long feathery tail sits in a field of white glowing flowers, looking solemnly upwards. Seemingly unsure of how to feel. the sky is a bright wash of starlight and blue, beaming down to colour her hair and head the same blue, though she fades into greyscale from her waist down. Petals from the flowers float around her in the sky, and text is written. "These Elpis blooms serve as proof, that this realm is not so utterly devoid of hope."

oldie (but relevant again) (maybe) (???)

(during the Eden storyline) Ryne asks the warrior of light, "What was Shiva like? What do you think of when you think of ice?"

an image of memories of ysayle reflected in shards of ice - her determination, her shattered hopes, beefing with Estinien, adoring moogles - and, in the center, our last memory of her, falling through the skies

The warrior of light covers his face, unable to reply. "I don't know what Shiva was like," he thinks, "When I think of ice I think of my friend."

Behse was fully behind Yugiri. They were well into their relatioship, and a mix of "I will support you" and "I will keep you safe" spurred them on. Also, parts of her (like Fray) wanted to go at Zenos again to seek justice for what was done by the Empire. (Didn't work, but they tried.) #BehseQOTD

Gimme a god damn Deathgaze. These terrifying things have been around since the beginning. Now that we've got a hydra, put this thing in next!

A deathgaze, a horrifying monster in FFXIV that appears as a cross between a scorpion and a dragon.

She wasn't my first character. I tried the game years earlier and got to at least Titan. I met the Company of Heroes, and Landenel's fellow Wood Wailer Detoh left an impression on me for some reason (reason: I'm weak to catgirls) so I used the Moshroca surname.

I believe I just hit the generator in-game or on fantasynamegenerator to get Behse (Bess). I liked the look of it and the (seemingly) silent letters, but over the years I've learned people aren't sure and have been saying "Bessie", which I have no problem with! It's cute! #BehseQOTD
