Everybody is gonna know I wrote this guy for me specifically

Personality: Gaspar isn't a creature of elegance as much as confidence, both on and off the battlefield. It seems that he always knows what's going on, or is keyed in on some sort of invisible frequency that allows him to slide out of the way of a sword or a cutting word with his remaining skin attached. Very little bothers him, as a rule. It isn't so much that he is apathetic to criticism and praise. It's more that his own sense of self isn't informed by anyone external and is limited entirely to his own inner musings, which seem on the whole comfortable with the person he is.

To most, Gaspar probably comes off as lackadaisical and a bit confusing. It's hard to tell how he's survived this long, unflappable or no, as he doesn't have any real skill that merits his self-esteem. Those who have seen him fight find him a middle of the pack gutstabber at best and the first person back at base after a bout at worst. He doesn't appear to have any real hobbies or some hidden talent that might explain why Octave's got her claws in him. He's good at sending a message from point A to point B, maybe. That's about it.

He's pleasant enough, for a walking necromantic anathema of a thing. He isn't out to make friends but he finds them often. Perhaps he's simply one of Lordaeron's many fallen who were nothing and nobody prior to undeath, and he wishes to keep it that way.

Played this last night on recommendation from Saint and Rafe and I've been thinking about it since. It's got a lot to say in the 1-2 hour playtime. I think the thing I enjoyed the most is that it doesn't shy away from real human ugliness which feels so fresh right now.
