WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS RESEARCH STUDY?
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of witnessing digital body-based abuse directed at women athletes, coaches, and sports personnel. Specifically, we evaluate how exposure to this abuse within women's sport fandom spaces affects women fans, focusing on body surveillance, self-image, and their overall sense of belonging.

WHO WILL BE IN THIS RESEARCH STUDY?
Women who identify as women's sport fans will be recruited on social media fan pages (e.g., Reddit). Approximately 300 participants are being recruited. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

in the regular season, the Valkyries used the "G-S-V" chant on at least 125 possessions, and had a ORTG of 92.8 on those possessions. that's bad! for the season, the Valkyries' overall ORTG is 108.2, which is 7th in the league. an ORTG of 92.8 would be well behind the Sun (97.8, 15th)!
