The job posting you picked up at the adventurer’s guild had promised gil in exchange for assisting with some research. What you hadn't expected was for the address to lead you to a private room at the Andron, an inn in Old Sharlayan. Curious and a little suspicious of the specific request to arrive late at night, you knock on the door, only to hear a tomboyish voice inviting you inside.

As you enter the room, you notice a Keeper of the Moon standing by the window. Her loose flannel barely covers her curves, while moonlight spills through the glass, gently illuminating her rounded figure. Behind the window, the full moon hangs in the night sky, almost rivaling the generous curves of the scholar's backside.
She studies you with her side-eye before slowly approaching you. "So, are you here for the scientific experiment?" She asks, a playful and curious hum in her voice. You nod nervously, raising the flyer you found earlier. It advertises a position as a test subject for a Sharlayan research project. You're short on gil and what's the worst that could happen?

The scholar steps closer, taking your hand and guiding it to rest against her chest. Beneath your palm, you can feel her heartbeat. While your own pulse is racing irregularly, hers remains slow and steady, almost reassuringly so. "I need someone to help me investigate certain... intimate strategies." she explains. "If you consent to assist me in this experiment, I can promise you that both the results and the compensation will be more than satisfactory."
You feel the temperature in the room rising and you suspect the burning fireplace is not entirely to blame. A warm rush spreads through your body as you nod again, this time with more enthusiasm. The Miqote tilts her head, pleased with your answer. “For the first part of our experiment, I'd like you to close your eyes." You obey, nervously closing your eyelids. Your heart begins to race a little faster as you wonder what the curious scholar has planned for you.

“Alright, then. Let’s begin the test. Open your eyes.” You follow her order, only to find the researcher lying before the fireplace. Her flannel lies abandoned by the window, and the crackling flames illuminate her bare body. “Last chance to back out. Are you sure you can handle my… Sex-pedient?”

You’ve never been more certain. Without waiting for another invitation, you attempt your own De-robement Tactics, although yours prove far clumsier than hers. Hardly surprising when you’re in the presence of a carnal strategist of her caliber. She chuckles at your awkward striptease. “It’s alright. Come closer. I’ll take the lead.”

You settle beside her on the carpet. Despite the warm fire, you’re shivering with anticipation The Scholar reaches behind her, revealing a small bottle. “Every good battle plan starts with a little Sacred(s) Oil.” The bottle makes wet noises as she squeezes out a few drops. She begins rubbing the oil into your skin, her touch strangely rejuvenating almost like a healing spell. Just as you relax, you catch her mischievous grin. “Mmm? Enjoying my Physick?” Her hand slips between your legs. “Shall we try a little Energy Drain next?” Before you can answer, she takes a firm yet gentle hold of your crotch. Between the oil and the rhythm, her Fey Stimulation quickly brings you close to the edge. Just as you’re about to Aetherblow, she stops and her smirk widens.“Oh? Those Whispering Moans tell me you’re ready to end our experiment early. But we haven’t even reached the main test.”

You swallow hard as she slowly rises above you.

The Miqo'te sits onto your lap, her hands gliding gently over your upper body. You try to hide your rising Lust-rate, but nothing escapes the scholar's careful eyes. Still with her weight on you, she begins to grind her hips against yours. “Mmm, have I left you feeling a little too Galvanized? Let's see how long that mitigation holds before you Aetherflow all over me.”

She presses closer, your bodies moving together in a slow, intimate rhythm that grows more passionate. Leaning back, she lets her composure slip. Despite her smug attitude, she seems to be enjoying herself just as much as you. When you point out that her research serves personal interests more than scientific progress, she chuckles. “It seems that, despite my tactical expertise, you've seen straight through my strategy.”

She continues moving against you. “It's true. I wanted to research the Art of Whore, and you seemed like the perfect specimen.” You blush. As an adventurer, you've taken countless jobs and finished off all sorts of villains. Never, however, did you expect to finish a job quite like this with a mischievous scholar on your lap.
Your stamina begins to falter as you struggle to match her rhythm. You grit your teeth, fingers tightening around her thighs. Just before your eyes shut, you catch her narrowing gaze and the way she bites her lip. “Go on, my little guinea pig. Let it all go.”

For a moment, it feels as though every last drop of aether is leaving your body. Her voice grows faint as exhaustion washes over you. As your vision fades to black, golden letters materialize before you, accompanied by a triumphant fanfare: “QUEST COMPLETE!”

As a grade schooler playing pretend I was always some princess or tomboy, and I didn't stop throughout middle- and highschool, mimicking my sister who was in the army. Even when I did pretend to be a guy, I always had a daughter who I would jump to 'being' most of the time.
