I sat down with both of them to talk about life at the sanctuary - fishing tackle rescues, hollow bones, a fully equipped swan operating theatre (possibly the only one in the country), and the Shepperton resident who spent over a thousand pounds on their Amazon wish list.

New Sheppertonian episode out now 🦢 Just off Felix Lane in Shepperton, the Swan Sanctuary has been rescuing swans since the 1980s. It started in Dot Beeson’s back garden. Today, her daughter Mel and granddaughter Gemma are carrying on her legacy. www.thesheppertonian.uk/podcast

If I was an actor I'd chew off my own left foot to be directed by Ella, so wrap your comedic napkin round your neck and start chewing.

This was really good last week. Loads of great speakers, and lots of online stuff around it included over the year. They've cleverly release tickets for next year at a big discount until Friday. atomic.site/atomicon/

IMHO It’s fine that video podcasts exist and do well…I t’s not fine to assume it’s one over the other. My great hope is the market doesn’t squeeze us audio people out. Not even because of the work, but because of the suppression of the audio medium, of the creativity.

It seems @bsky.app isn’t popular amongst my contacts 😂 I love the open idea of it and have a pleasant experience here. I just wish everyone I know was on it. Anyway, hello 👋 if you see this ☀️

@bsky.app is feeling a little US-centric. Who should I be following in the UK?

In the latest live Sheppertonian podcast episode, I chatted with Farrah Charles and Dan Burton from Shepperton Studios, celebrating its 95th year. We discussed its history, community support, and a tale about The Who. Listen at www.thesheppertonian.uk/podcast #SheppertonStudios

A lot of people don't realise this but in the UK we have to replace our Prime Minister every two or three years or else the rights revert back to Marvel

After nearly a week of being out of studio it’s back to the marvellous grindstone today…addressing notes on a podcast theme tune for a client and then getting some mixing done for another client project. Early mornings because of the heat ☀️ Have a brilliant weekend everyone.

Template building in Logic Pro X for a new theme tune project for a client. This is the blank slate stage - as daunting as it is exciting (but mostly exciting) 🎶 Stay cool if you can today everyone!

Hello all 👋 I'm going to be in Manchester overnight next month (Wednesday 17th June), so if you're into music and/or podcasting a few of us are gathering at the Piccadilly Tap at 6pm for a drink and a chinwag. Do come along if you're free!

Something I want to spend time on in the near future is making libraries from cheap gear and cheap instruments in settings ordinary people can access, and what Jeremy talks about in this video is a big part of why, Please do buy our stuff, but because you support what we do, not because it's magic
