This was really good last week. Loads of great speakers, and lots of online stuff around it included over the year. They've cleverly release tickets for next year at a big discount until Friday. atomic.site/atomicon/

It seems @bsky.app isn’t popular amongst my contacts 😂 I love the open idea of it and have a pleasant experience here. I just wish everyone I know was on it. Anyway, hello 👋 if you see this ☀️

After nearly a week of being out of studio it’s back to the marvellous grindstone today…addressing notes on a podcast theme tune for a client and then getting some mixing done for another client project. Early mornings because of the heat ☀️ Have a brilliant weekend everyone.

Template building in Logic Pro X for a new theme tune project for a client. This is the blank slate stage - as daunting as it is exciting (but mostly exciting) 🎶 Stay cool if you can today everyone!

Tracking a guide vocal for a session singer for a project I’ve started with a lovely company. It’s for a female vocal so it’ll mean adjusting the key once they’ve heard it. Can’t wait to share it once it’s out in the world 🎤✨🌙 🎶 (It’s the weekend so coffee is compulsory 🤣).

They seem to like my music on BBC Radio 3 Unwind's Sleeping Forecast. This time it's 'stop everything' from my 'and breathe' EP from 2023. The announcer @neilnunes1.bsky.social has such an amazing voice, and the whole show idea is brilliant.

It’s a cold and wet February day. But I’ve just written a couple of cosy lullaby ideas for a meeting tomorrow, so that’s nice 💤🎶

The Sheppertonian Business Club, cohosted by nikibakes. Proof that networking doesn’t need a format to work. Local business owners, coffee, and space to talk properly. That was the brief, and it delivered. Thanks to everyone who came along to the Ferry Coffee Shop. We’ll do it again.

Another spin on the Sleeping Forecast, this time ‘hopeful’ from my ‘be still’ EP. Incidentally, I also adapted this track to score the documentary short about Milton Keynes’ green spaces, by the animation and TV legend that is @timtriffic.bsky.social now playing on loop at the MK Museum.

Little Stones is out today 🎉 This album started with a kid, a new guitar, and a quiet room where music felt safe. Years later, I finally did the thing I dreamed of back then: recording and releasing an album from home, just for the love of it. 1/2

Album update: I *think* I’ve settled on the track order for the new album. The songs are complete structurally, I just need to crack on with finishing the tracking. The cover design is a work in progress (this is the kind of thing I have in mind for the back)…
