Tonight brings the first full moon of summer: the Hay Moon 🌕🌾 Named by Anglo-Saxons for the hay harvest, it’s also called the ‘Buck Moon’, a Native American name marking the time young deer bucks grow new antlers. Celts knew it as the Wyrt or Mead Moon, for herb gathering. Moonrise: 22:15*
