So I was definitely under the eye of the school where I used to teach's administration for having the audacity to come out as non-binary, but no non-binary kids were magicked into existence in my class, because I had to get them to understand how to write a strong thesis, or stop hitting each other.

Maybe it's my own limited expose as someone raised reform (now reconstructioning), but I only ever saw this discomfort at the day school where I taught. And even then, like EVERY kid who wasn't Ortho was absolutely trick or treating or having huge Halloween parties.

I've never skipped a single minor or major election since I turned 18. I've also, in the course of that time, trusted exactly TWO of the people I've seen elected - my house rep and my state rep. Everyone else is mashed potatoes and promises of nothing.
