This is horrific. Lethal injection has never been a reliable means of execution, because doctors with the necessary expertise refused to help develop the process, and most drug companies don’t want to supply the substances used. It is a story of cruelty and incompetence.

Honestly this is making me think about the fact that part of the huge overemphasis on STEM over the last few decades was a comorbid disdain and disintegration of the arts and humanities. We’re socialized to disdain a theatre BA & see it as impractical, but it’s truthfully enormously useful

Currently paying 1400$/m it’s impossible to get anything done when he’s at home. He requires constant attention unless he’s in front of a screen. So. Infinite screen time, expensive daycare, or disaster home. Also we could probably have a 2nd kid if we didnt have to add another 1400$/m

I would add an addendum that many ttrpg-ers claim to be using improv and theatre techniques but really all they did is poorly absorb “yes and.” Like. Any ttrpg-ers know what “CROW” stands for? Or the differences bw Stanislavski and Gratowski? Commedia del Arte?

That first panel is a major theme of my dissertation and led to me (maybe?) coining the term ‘Superverbal Semiotics’ to denote a schema of symbols that have infinite depth of meaning beyond the capacity of verbalization. In other words; if a pic is worth 1000w a meme = ♾️
