Oh hey it’s #Portfolioday again ain’t it! I’m Fungus, I draw creatures, fantasy weaponry, mecha and some other miscellaneous stuff too! I mostly work in monochrome.

A decrepit anchor, it has a shattered chain attached to the top, its covered in cracks, barnacles and seaweed.

An industrial looking blade with heat vents. It is also my Greatsword design for my fan monster Reistovast

A mechanical alien, it floats above a sphere and a ring floats where its body terminates

A pox covered demon snarling at the viewer. It has a single caprine horn. It’s body is wrapped in cloth and chains

Found some art from like 4 years ago, so enjoy this weird flail. #Artofthungus

A very cruel looking flail, the bottom of the handle is designed like a scorpion tail, and the long part of the handle is wrapped in rune covered linen, terminating at a carved skull. The chain of the weapon is covered in wicked looking spikes, and spiked ball at the end is filled with small holes

Ok so it’s a bit scuffed, but here’s my rendition of Rey Dau hammer, I based it partially off a Japanese festival kite, also it kinda looks like tempura. #Mhart #Artofthungus

A massive hammer with large ridges, the front end has sharp around a flat point while the back has “tails” made of thin wisps of lightning.

Some fresh new mecha art I’m working on. #Mechaart #Artofthungus

An incomplete robotic shoulder. It has tubing protruding from it, a symbol of the unit it belongs to, a stylized falling star. To the left of that symbol is a small exhaust cylinder, above the symbol is two refueling ports.

My half of an art trade. @kelina1080.bsky.social’s skelly dragon lad: Teios!

The floating skeleton head of a dragconic being. It is wearing a cowboy hat. The two upturned horns have small cracks in them and smoke trails behind the head.

This is mostly me fucking with mechanical details but I like to think it’s some sort of robot in the process of being built.

Some sort of mechanical entity. The left arm has a tube coming out of it and a spike. The head has a visor, small head fins, a face plate and is connected to the torso by exposed wires. The pit the wires lead into is recessed. The right shoulder just a bunch of holes

With Wilds just around the corner I want to take the opportunity to thank you all

My whole life I was very secluded, I had a couple friends but would rarely share my interest due to irrational fears. But when Wilds was announced a year ago I decided to finally step out of my bubble. I started using my old Twitter account and started interacting with the community for the first time. And in that year I have meet so many incredible people. This new level of confidence let me be able to form so many new bonds with people and it even got me my first relationship. Being able to finally talk about my favorite game series with other people was so refreshing. Of course I soon realized how miserable Twitter was and switched over to Bluesky, I did have quite a few followers on Twitter but 60% of my posts would never get any engagements, the only posts of mine to really blow up were the ones where I was being negative which I hated. But switching over here and seeing people genuinely enjoying my posts and regularly interacting with them has meant more to me than anyone could imagine.

So thank you all for sticking with me and liking my autistic ramblings about the ecologies of fictional animals. It really means a lot and I can’t wait to see you all in Wilds.

Think I'm gonna try and stop using "difficult" and "easy" when describing games, i feel like that binary has gotten too simplistic and toxic atp the words i keep coming back to are stuff like "satisfying", "boring", "engaging", "frustrating" etc

My take on the Beo Hatchets. Why didn’t they have them just look like Beotodus’s head? Like that just seems like it would have been an easy design choice.

A short sword that looks like a shark, the handle and the guard have a fish scale pattern on them. (I also put a bit of Guirion influence from the Gamera Series on it)
