I’m sorry but I do not at all understand people praising mh Outlanders so much. Yeah the game looks fine but the character design is the most generic gachaslop I’ve seen I’m willing to give it a chance but I don’t have high hopes

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

I JUST WOKE UP HOLY SHIT HES REAL

So Rey Dau may just be one of the best designed monsters in the series if not the best. Honestly if it weren’t for my personal bias for my favorite monsters and the fact that Rey is still so new, Rey Dau would probably be my number 1 monster right now. The design is——

I feel like I’m the only person who doesn’t have a preference for Diablos or Monoblos. I they’re there both amazing but so connected that I can’t really put one above the other But anyways. Monoblos has a 10/10 fight in every game and his design is such a perfect blend of——

Best piscene wyvern, and that’s coming g from someone who really likes most of them (except Lavasioth) He has such a sharp and edgy design but it dosent feel overdone or nonsensical since it fits the animal it’s based on. Plus I have to praise the effects on his fight——

Alright you know what I really need to get back on posting here more Soooo to make up for it, reply to this post with any mh monster and I’ll give my full and complete thoughts on them

Honestly as a monster I’m not really a big fan of Arkveld or Guardian Arkveld. He’s the worst case of “how can this thing fly” of any monster. Plus the chain whips feel way to quick and fluid However as a story character I think Guardian Arkveld is amazing. The story is Nata is amazing and——

I think he’s pretty neat. Probably my least favorite of the three lords. I don’t think the gathering of qurio quest is as amazing as everyone says but it’s still great. His scales look weirdly metallic and robotic which probably was intentional but I don’t really like it, especially the tail——

I can’t even lie. Silksong I think is the closest any game has gotten to over taking 4U as my number 1 game I still haven’t even reached act 2 but if it keeps up this level of quality I think it may be my new all time favorite game

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 12/09/2025

Ok i wanna take a chance to talk about this cus its so cool Before 5th gen the only "bird" we fully knew were bird wyverns. all other birds were very low poly or were just background entities Bird wyverns were described as "bird like" however 5th gen questioned that

Larinoth seem to only exist on the Jurassic frontier due to lack of predators compared to the mainland. Sauropods may just be unsuited for the mh world due to lack of self defense plus how long they would need to reach adulthood

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

I finally have achieved the exact look I’ve been looking for FINALLY Ignore terrible camera quality lol

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

How is Silksong coming out tomorrow what is this timeline

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 27/08/2025

I didn't want to say it to soon to make sure recency bias wasn't factoring in but upon letting it sit for a while, Wilds has my favorite original roster of any game. The amount of creativity and uniqueness each monster is spewing is insane

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

My biggest pet peeve with mh’s world is just how common every monster seems to be. I get it for things like Deviljho and Bazel but like does Glavenus really need to be in this many areas. He’d be way cooler if he was only found in the Jurassic frontier imo

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

I don’t think I ever mentioned it here but Hollow knight is my second favorite game of all time only behind mh4u It still dosent feel real that Silksong is both real and is coming out soon

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 21/08/2025

SILKSONG IS ACTUALLY REAL ALALANSBDHSHAHZBSJFBKSBDJDAV

Oh shit I realized I forgot to talk about stories 3. Uhhh the stories series dosent super interest me but I really like what we’ve seen so far, I’m very excited to see what a more adult story can be like

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 02/08/2025

The one thing I never see anyone mention about ADHD pills is that while it makes me focus way better. It also makes me focus on my emotions way more so I after taking it I will always break down crying thinking about things that make me happy/sad/angry or whatever else

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 23/07/2025

Srry about not posting in a while, I’ve been taking a mental health break from social media. I’ll be fighting arch Uth later today and very excited to see what she’s like considering she’s my favorite apex. I’ve mostly just been playing pvz fusion (this game is so peak omfg)

damn the choices were hard but heres my picks

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 05/07/2025

Welp it’s happened, Seregios has returned in a fully modernized version that I’ve dreamed of. I’ve never really talked about why Steve is my favorite monster so in celebration here’s a massive thread on why. I highly doubt anyone's gonna read this but idc.

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 03/07/2025

Wait I just had a thought. What if the reason Pukei barely resembles the other bird Wyverns is because they’re mimicking true flying Wyverns as a defense against predators. This could also be the reason for the similarities between Yian Kut-Ku and Rathalos just to a lesser extent

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 30/06/2025

It’s been a while since I’ve hunted Lagi so I’ll hop on 3U real quick to remember what he’s like before Wilds. And what the hell I’ll also hunt Steve in 4u again why not

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 29/06/2025

Seregios finally coming was the best thing that could have happened to me now. I’ve been sitting on so many errands and important things I need to get to but I finally did them all today so I can be able to relax with Steve

Was debating on whether I should post this cus it’s a really shit quality and was only really made for my friends and gf to see my live reaction but fuck it you all get it too now enjoy

The Harris hawk is the only bird of prey that’s known to consistently hunt in packs and I would love to see Seregios hunt in packs in Wilds. The social behavior of Seregios is so interesting and I would love to see Wilds expand it GOG PLEASE JUST GIVE ME SEREGIOS IN WILDS

SpottedBoy @spottedboy2.bsky.social · 06/06/2025
