Colored illustrations of Klump from the Donkey Kong series in his appearances from DKC, DKC2 (where he's known as Kannon), DK64 and Barrel Blast. I thought about including the cartoon but it would just be a recolor of DKC. If you read this, let me know if you want to see the cartoon version and I will draw him again :)

Shortly after @mattcornah.bsky.social joined DK Vine in the wake of Donkey Kong Country Returns' release, he produced this lovely illustration of King K. Rool playing chess with Tiki Tong. I never thought I'd get to approximate it in an actual Donkey Kong game, but we now live in such times.

These talking rocks live all throughout the Underground World. They're happy, polite, curious, and always seem to have a fun way of speaking on rhyme. Fractones are made of a material called Fractonium, which can repair itself if a piece of it is torn or smashed off. Fractones have made their home in every layer, and have recently come to live on the surface as well! As balanced players, the Fractones have average stats across the board, with a slight favoring of passing and spiking. The Whacktone attack is a counter move where, if any opponent strikes the Fractone while they take a defensive stance, they break apart before rebuilding themself to be much bigger and much heavier and slamming down on them!

An obscure functionality of Donkey Kong Country Returns is that if Donkey Kong spends 3 full attack cycles of a boss not damaging it, Professor Chops will pop up telling him what to do, e.g. "BOP NOW!" In the Mole Miner Max battle, the tip is particularly condescending, being simply "TRY HARDER".

Extremely rare officially licensed 1992 "Mariovania" mug. While appearing to be a regular Super Mario Bros. mug, the background is actually the starting area of Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. What Mario is doing in this location is not explained.
