#FolkyFriday Hazel nuts were believed to be a source of wisdom and poetic inspiration. Nuts fell into a sacred pool from nine surrounding hazel trees and were eaten by a Salmon - both Welsh & Irish folklore have references to the ancient Salmon of Knowledge. 🎨Anon & Judith Shaw
