Hello and welcome to yet another travel thread!! People on here with an interest in European rail travel will undoubtedly be aware of Germany's Deutschlandticket, which allows unlimited travel on any local public transport and regional rail services across the country within a month.

Welcome back on Day Two of this trip, and the real meat of the journey!! After, umm, some sleep at the admittedly quite nice hotel, I guess it's time to get on with it and explain just why this trip is called: #SevenEightMine If you'd like to see Day One, please find it below.

I had a beautifully hilarious opening to this trip thread, but you're never going to see it because in the end I didn't have the time! After a stunt which frankly I can't even post about online, that's how much you shouldn't try it, I'm doing something different this weekend. #SevenEightMine

Let's talk about magic, shall we? About magic, language, contracts, and society in general. (Yes, this is one of those forays into an alternate universe; while there are certainly forces in this world which I would happily class as magic, they're not what I'm talking about today.)

On the left is the workers café, which is high quality tea, in the middle is the middle class coffee shop, with the tea being low quality, and on the right is the upper class fancy restaurant, with the tea being high quality again.

A copy of the last edition of 2000s era publication The Way Out Tube Map, a tube map with information on which carriage to be in on the Tube to be closest to the exit.

The description reads: "Being told where to get off can sometimes be a pain, but not with the Way Out map. Its clever, easy to use system, shows you which carriage to board to arrive right opposite the platform exit at your destination. This ingenious Way Out map will put you a lot more than one step ahead."A photo of the inside of the Way Out Tube Map. Coloured underground lines cross the page.
