the crazy thing about this trend is how badly this exposes that these people have the same attachment and awareness of video games as scalpers do for pokemon

Between this and the Phantom Rider in the comics, it looks like Sega has broken their once iron clad rule of “males don’t wear pants!”

I'm beginning to realize that Blaze the cat's character is suffering a similar fate to what Sally's character was going through in Archie Sonic up until Ian Flynn took the wheel. If you know you know.

Correction. I'm just gonna assume that 90% of people that pump out "PC ports" that are vibe coded don't actually care about a working product and just want patreon money, clout, and the undying love of Video Game Esoterica

SLOP WATCH: The Sonic Adventure recomp is vibe coded. You can tell because they say so and also because every code comment is a 4+ line short story and people who have actually done real decomp work (SPEEPSHighway) have no clue what it's even doing despite this. gj clod i mean claude #slopwatch

No, sonic twitter user. The current state of the fandom, specifically their reactions to recent IDW storylines, is not the reason we are getting a toddler show.

Getting tired of untested vibecoded ports that are just buggy and because no experienced coders are around, they can't fix it? Never fear, as I have listed decomps and recomps done by actual people and it will continue expanding! If you know any, lemme know!

Can we go back to Evan Stanley just being an artist for Sonic IDW and not the lead writer? They really need some young-and-hungry new blood in the writing room again; these road to 100 issues are just so weak.

The Disney renaissance movies used to look different. They were planned to be printed on 35 mm film -- that's how they were first released. Modern editions skip that last step in the process. It was a highly developed, overlooked craft, as we explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/disneys-fi...
