For the non-Catholics who don’t know what Lent is: Lent is a 40-day event where Catholics have to sacrifice certain “luxuries” (social media, junk food & fast food, complaining/gossiping, red meat, etc) while increasing certain practices like praying and attending mass.

What I’m doing for Lent starting tomorrow: - Eat fish on Fridays, Ash Wednesday, and my birthday (March 4) - Sacrifice getting seconds - Use the Bible app daily - Attend Saturday Mass - Heavily reduce consuming content w/ tons of violence & sexual content/references (Hazbin, South Park, etc)

RIP Guy Moon, the composer for several series, including Fairly OddParents (and the rest of Butch Hartman's work), 2 Stupid Dogs, Cow and Chicken, Ned's Declassified, Big Time Rush, Back in the Barnyard, and many more. He was 63 years old.

We are overcome with grief to announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Guy Moon. He was killed on Thursday morning in a traffic collision.
We feel singularly blessed to have been able to call him dad and husband. As we stand together at the base of what seems to be an insurmountable grief, we are emboldened to grieve him with honor and courage with the tools that he equipped us with in his beautiful life. He has left an unmistakable legacy, and will be profoundly missed by us, his family, and countless others whose lives he impacted.
We are tentatively planning to celebrate his life on his birthday, February 7th, in the Los Angeles area, and again sometime after in his hometown in Wisconsin. We will make details available as we plan.

The people scolding those who aren’t mourning people like Charlie Kirk and Dick Cheney are the same people who expect marginalized people to “suck it up”, or to have some resilience, or to “be the bigger person”. You all truly don’t understand why a lot of us don’t want to mourn these people.
