“On October third, he asked me what day it was. “It’s October third.” To anyone who remembers it, has heard of it, has seen it, or all of the above regarding #meangirls, today’s the special day!

A little thought sort of crossed my mind for when I shared my latest drawing of Guinevere today. Maybe I drew her better in Drawing Pad than in Photoshop this year.

Plushblue EP @plushblueeperic.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

A new episode of #knightsofguinevere comes out next week, so I figured I’d draw Guinevere herself again in light of this.

I hope I’m not too late in terms of artistically participating in the #littleeinsteins renaissance of 2026, but even if I am, it never hurts to do some fanart of the show and its characters. And that’s where my first drawing of October this year comes in with June.

We had a mostly Drawing Pad-laden art month with a couple of Photoshop-drawn pieces added to the mix. There’s no telling what to expect for October, but one thing’s for certain, there’ll be more great drawings where that came from. What’s your favorite September drawing of mine? #monthinreview

Plushblue EP @plushblueeperic.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Recently, in my art department, I’ve been starting to build up my October backlog with new drawings on Drawing Pad along with the ones I drew in Photoshop in advance before I made the temporary switch. Be on the lookout for those new illustrations!

At the time I drawn this scene with #spongebobsquarepants and Bugs Bunny from #looneytunes, the merger (which I’m against, BTW) wasn’t put on hold again yet. But just in case, consider this a little something I drew in light of events of that sort.

September 28th was a big day for animation, wasn’t it? We saw the introductions of things like Hotel Transylvania, Smallfoot, JoJo’s Circus, and the big rebrand for Nickelodeon. Which of these do you remember the most?

As Dracula wholeheartedly smiles, Johnny asks Mavis if the two try their kiss again as to seal their relationship together as boyfriend/girlfriend, soon to be husband/wife.

Hotel Transylvania (2012)

Migo the yeti and Percy the human smile at each other while Percy is held in Migo’s hand.

Smallfoot (2018)

A clown and her pet lion pose in front of a green background.

JoJo’s Circus (2003)

Orange letters sit on the floor of a white backdrop.

In this illustration I did of Trigger Happy from #skylanders, it shows that the items he needs to battle his next opponent are missing. Could another Skylanders character have taken them while his back was turned? (Maybe this idea sounded a bit better in my head)

Of all the times I’ve done fanart for @aidandefrehn.bsky.social, I’m surprised I haven’t done a proper drawing of one of his flagship OCs yet. And so, I’m able to fix that now with my fanart of Adrian O’Niamh, with her feeding a sheep some hay.

Regarding today’s drawing I did of Captain Feathersword, I do wanna mention that I grew up with The Wiggles, and they played a key part of my childhood. Back then, I would enjoy watching some seasons of their TV show and listening to their music via CD or on the show itself.

Time to hit the dance floor and party the night away as we celebrate Joanna Davidovich’s birthday today! Happy birthday, Joanna! Fun fact: This was my first Photoshop drawing in production order where I did that glitter overlay composite technique. #birthdaycard

Joanna Davidovich (with her hair down) is seen striking a disco pose while smiling at us. Her attire consists of a bright blue glitter-laden teacup hat, as well as a britht blue glittery button-down shirt (with loose collar) and dark blue glittery trousers. Next to her, a disco ball hangs on a rope with the number 43 spelt out by some of the tiles.

25 years ago, tragedy struck in New York City, and from there, everything changed. Today and every day, let us remember this solemn day in history and let us forever remember the people we lost during these events. #neverforget

Thursday thought: If aquariums have been associated with Finding Nemo since 2003, and if zoos have been associated with Madagascar since 2005, I wonder if there were people who associated those Matryoshka nesting dolls with Higglytown Heroes since the show’s 2004 debut.

Five nesting dolls (Matryoshka) lined up in a row while standing on a patterned cloth, biggest to smallest.

Promo art for Disney’s “Higglytown Heroes” features the quintet of characters with smiling expressions. The characters are, left to right: Twinkle, Kip, Eubie, Wayne, and Fran the squirrel. The character designs in the show are modeled after the Matryoshka nesting dolls, hence why from Eubie to Fran, the quintet are introduced in the theme song biggest to smallest.
