Digger the Dermatophyte Lamisil 2003-2011 An anthropomorphised toenail fungus animated by WildBrain whose domestic run was brief but whose impact was strong, with his debut commercial's graphic portrayal of onychomycosis. He was repurposed in the UK for foot clinic Stepwise as Freddy the Fungus.

When the economic climate grew too dour for Halifax ads to stay whimsical, Brown had to step down as spokesman in 2008 before exiting the company in 2011. Since then, he berated Halifax for adding pronouns to name tags. Can't cover the real Howard because spokespeople playing themselves don't count.

The Tipps Family PG Tips 1956-2002 Brooke Bond capitalised on the chimpanzee tea party by having zoo chimps dress up, perform comedy and flap their lips to celebrity voices for PG Tips. Animal rights groups had the campaign axed in 1972, but to save sales the Tipps returned and continued into 2002.

Crest Team Crest 1977-1984 The Crest Team, designed by Herb Trimpe, defended their tooth-walled city when the pickaxe-wielding Cavity Creeps broke in to make holes, and encouraged children to protect their own "Toothopolis". Crest would pit the Creeps against future mascots after retiring the Team.
The Crest Team; five superheroes wielding giant toothbrushes and wearing white jumpsuits with red or blue highlights and each letter in 'Crest' in a triangular emblem on their chests. They are accompanied by Crest Boy and Cresty the Dog, who would later also wear jumpsuits and be joined by Crest Girl.The Crest Team sending defeated Cavity Creeps - rocky, hulking humanoid monsters - into their CrestmobileModel sheet for Crest Boy, Crest Girl and Cresty the DogCrest advertorial comic from 1984: 'The Crest Team in The Bubbles of Doom'. The title is formed out of rocks, as bolts of lightning and Cavity Creeps in hot air balloons made of bubblegum loom overhead.

Kiyoko & Kiyomi Kiosk 2009-2016 These salesclerk sisters were displayed as welcoming statues at all Tokai Kiosk convenience stores in Japan. Their outfits would change depending on the season. The sisters appeared as costumes from 2014, only to have their presence removed from stores a year later.
