Is it just me, or is this somehow even scarier in French?

Since no one is going to let me have an actual Pallas cat, and yes I know they belong in the wild but it’s not fair that Mother Nature made them so darn fluffy, I might need one of these.

A reimagining of/homage to M. C. Escher's "Drawing Hands" showing a realistic human hand emerging from the paper drawing a robotic/AI hand which is also emerging from the paper... and that robotic hand, having turned the pencil around, is erasing the human hand. By Bruce MacKinnon

How to be polite. Babies: smile at them. A small wave or peekaboo is allowed. Dogs: tell them what a good dog they are. Cats: low bow or curtesy, your choice, say hail to your mistress Bast, ask for blessing. Children in school bus: enthusiastic wave.

Any cognition you perceive in "AI" is your own. That's it. You built your concept of its intelligence, the same way you understand fictional characters as people. The same way you can see an octopus in a towel hook. They are using your mind to sell their product. The human is you.

This is absolutely hideous. We are talking about a political party that wants women to reproduce and at the same time is raising the maternal mortality rate. The result is dead women.

One of our favourite nature facts is that a group of ladybirds is called a 'loveliness'. 📷 Rob Coleman
Close-up photograph of a cluster of bright red ladybirds with black spots gathered on the sloping wooden surface of a bug hotel or stacked logs. Around 30-40 ladybirds are resting together in a sunlit triangular recess between weathered pieces of wood, with warm natural colours and shallow depth of field creating a softly blurred background.

Letters from an Imaginary Country by Theodora Goss @theodoragoss.bsky.social
A woman with a dark haired bon haircut is facing the viewer reading a book that is held up to almost cover her mouth. She is pale skinned and wearing white gloves with three black lines on the back. the book has cursive script that is strictly horizontal in the image not following the direction of the book. The book is either somewhat transparent or the book also has the image of her lower face and neck on it. around her are suggestions of grass and tree foliage.
