If they can imagine it, you can invest in it. We asked a class of 10-year-olds a question we grapple with a lot at Impact on Urban Health. What do we want the future of our cities to look like? 🌆 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Viai...

This is what drives me nuts about this slop, no designer would get away with such mistakes, the client would’ve said “WTF is this crap, go away & fix it”, but because they can do it cheaply themselves it’s somehow OK, it just needs the right feel on a macro level

I used to think thw German Greens transitioning Germany away from nuclear and renewables and back toward coal was the most anti-green Green Party policy I'd see in Europe, but subsidising fossil fuel usage during the best transition opportunity of our lifetimes gives it a run for its money

This was the bit of the story that gave me pause. It's such an incredible insight into how social media has broken some people's brains to the extent that they have a strangely sociopathic and extractive relationship with the world around them

I'm really pleased to see this guidance published. It should enable better dialogues between housing officers and families with neurodivergent children experiencing homelessness. If you want to know more about this & other child health and housing work, get in touch @impurbanhealth.bsky.social

True that. Film photography is a fantastic hobby. More recently, I've been learning the mechanics and science of it but this approach is much more fun.

(I basically love film photography as a hobby specifically because I think you can get better at it purely through practice - I've always v actively refuse to *learn* anything about it despite having been doing it for over a decade; it's been great for my brain!)

Something I've always thought about Facebook, Instagram and more latterly, Whatsapp. I don't think Zuckerberg or anyone at Meta actually understand people? Like on a fundamental level, their products suggest they don't know what human connection actually is
