I dove into the film of CJ Allen the last few days, and came away with a greater appreciation for the young player. At just 21, he’s ready to be an NFL Mike. 38 minutes of breaking down the Colts’ newest LB in this Draft Debrief: youtu.be/5pIEzDlXdY8?...

It may be helpful to pin in at the top or in the bio. Those are the first places I looked for reference.

Did Nick at there is a video on Pitcherlist or an article with him explaining how he uses these cards? I'm trying to figure out how to orient myself and find what seems to correlate to my fantasy scoring.

During the OG playthrough, you talked about when Holy is cast, Buggenhagen says the planet will remove everything it deems a threat and erase the bad. Could the planet consider the party a threat since they caused the planets loss of control of fate? Although Holy can’t happen without the party.

my 1-year old son Torbert just looked me in the eyes and told me the taunting penalty on Tariq Woolen taught him the importance of sportsmanship and placing the team's needs above his own. he no longer wants to be a Drug Dealer when he grows up, he wants to be a philanthropist/referee

Congratulations on getting to cover these playoffs instead of another Ballard presser and speculation on how this Colts offseason will be different.

Thanks for looking into it. I think my email was verified. I just did it again just in case. I think it may have to do with the VPN I have on my phone from what I’m reading online. I got a gift sub today so I want to make sure I can chat on Wednesday’s FF7 playthrough

With the Bears season over, it’s officially baseball season! Ah, shit.

A graphic showing that the Chicago White Sox have been eliminated from postseason contention.

We are one snap away from former Colts Pre-season All-Pro, Slinging Sammy Ehlinger, leading the Broncos to a Super Bowl.

Michael Pittman's contract is easier to mess with than other trade targets, but he's knocking on 30 and isn't exactly a needle-mover like AJ Brown or Brandon Aiyuk. Here's what an extension could look like with more manageable cap hits. Spotrac has Pitt's AAV at 2 yrs, $60 mil but that seems high

dummy contract extension for michael pittman jr. where he'd take less money. he said this in 2024

“I don’t look at other guys' [deals] and kick myself. I don’t really care that much because … even if guys are getting more, I think what I’m getting is a decent amount of money.” —Pittman on signing his contract extension after being franchise-tagged during the 2024 offseason

Colts Free Agents and Extension Candidates

The Colts announced they would retain GM Chris Ballard and HC Shane Steichen after the season and together they'll have to make some tough financial decisions about their wide receiver room in 2026 and beyond.

Alec Pierce is a free agent but the Colts are likely to use a projected $28 million WR franchise tag to retain him (in early March) as they negotiate a contract extension (by mid-July).

The Colts could save $24 million in cap space by trading or cutting Michael Pittman before March 16.

List of extension candidates plus a bonus for the ALT text sickos

While Indy has roughly $53 million in projected cap space heading into the offseason, a considerable portion of that will end up going to the quarterback room.

Spotrac projects Daniel Jones's next contract to come in around $45 million per year, which seems a tad high for a player with his injury history (neck '21, ACL '23, Achilles '25) and streaky production (notably better in contract years).

We've seen Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins struggle for more than a season off of an Achilles before they resembled anything close to their former selves, and even then they weren't able to consistently string together quality starts.

Aside from addressing the league's highest paid position, other Colts free agents are projected to collectively earn $63.5 million in average annual value (AAV) on the open market, or $8 million more than the Colts have to spend.

They could open up some room by extending franchise-legend Quenton Nelson but it seems less likely that the Colts would want to extend a WR going on 30 or a running back going on 28 to free up additional 2026 cap space by "kicking the can down the road" — i.e. pushing guaranteed money into the future that would limit their cap space in exchange for trying to win in 2026 with a new QB or one coming off a torn Achilles.

The Colts chose to stick with Steichen and Ballard, however, and it seems likely that both are thinking about the here and now and not the future of the franchise.

Added a few more, so up to 78 baseball follows. Thanks, Denny, for sharing! Chickpeas are in the mail.

Here’s a baseball starter pack I threw together since the MLB link is broken. About 60 people to follow. Most are pretty active even before pitchers and catchers report. go.bsky.app/KqyTGoi

Maybe I missed it, but it would be great to take a starter pack and press a button to make it a list instead of having to add each newly added follow to a list @support.bsky.team

I’m wondering if the effort from the players today may play a part in the decision to be made in the next 24 hours. Will the Colts look engaged or roll over to a division rival? Also is that a Locked On Colts sweatshirt? Can I buy one somewhere?

@lordreebs.bsky.social I se hear you cite this stat at times. How sticky is end zone targets year to year? Deciding if I want to consider it as a data point when choosing my keepers for next season.
