I moved here from Nashville where we don’t have winter. I thought I’d die during a few winters especially when the polar vortex thing happened. I agree with you that every one’s body doesn’t jibe with this cold climate. This winter is supposed to be mild. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 Remember to layer!

My first winter in Chicago was the Groundhog Day Snowpocolyps where it snowed two feet overnight with thunder and lightning! The city shut down the buses, people’s cars were stuck on LSD. The past few winters we may have had a foot or two of snow all season with temps never dipping into -30 range

I’m not certain the word “fatigue” covers me on days that I can’t do anything but sleep. Like I get up to pee then scoop out some kibble for the cats on my way back through but that’s it. It’s more like a torpor. With fatigue I can push myself to do normal household things but not with this torpor.
