Another knitting project taken on. Crafters ADHD is real! Still working on the other feather & fan pattern. Just slower. This is in double stocking stitch for anyone interested. Makes for a nice doubled over, dense fabric. Going to be nice & toasty if this ever gets finished. 🤭

My Rage Against the Machine/Les Mis mashup is complete. This is my interpretation of the quilt guild’s summer challenge “quilt with your interpretation and/or feelings towards our current ‘democracy’” all hand stitched.

Quilt hanging on a card catalog. Neutral background with navy cursive appliqué “Do you hear thr people sing?” The background is embroidered in red starting light and getting bolder the lyrics to “killing in the name” the quilting effect is a focused sunburst from the center.

Have made 10in on my scarf. Thinking of changing out the striping colors to purple/black, then lime green/black, back to purple/black, & finish with orange/black just to mix it up. But that would only make the finished product 50in long when the average scarf is 60-70in. Hmmm… ideas?

Figured it out! Kinda. Well I’m moving ahead again at least. Tink’ed back a stitch & added one in since I knew what side I had lost it on. Got my count back & have progressed a few more sets of repeats. I don’t think you can tell where I goofed. Or I can’t see it at least. Calling this a win!

Guess I’m done knitting then. Thank you to all who offered help but I don’t know how to undo or tink back stitches & it doesn’t sound like adding a stitch in is going to fix it so… back to the skein it goes. Dammit. 😕 I really need to find someone to teach me knitting properly.

Trying a feather & fan knitting pattern to mix things up. Completely fucked myself earlier. Was at the end of the 5th set of repeats & thought I’d messed up. Pulled the whole thing out only to realize I was SUPPOSED to have 3 stitches left on the needle at the end. Arg!!!
