36 years (so far) as a Mental Health Professional has left me highly critical of Mental Health Professionals and the services they create. Very left indeed.

Google maps has finally updated its Satellite photos of Gaza and it shows the most complete destruction of a city ever. A Genocide.

Charlotte Church sang From the River to the Sea at a fundraising event for Palestinians and now all the usual people are screaming antisemitism and trying to cancel her. RT if you stand with Charlotte Church and Palestine.

According to Reform UK Ltd, when it's Unions donating to Labour the Party does what they tell them to do, but apparently them when far-right billionaires donate to them, they are just supporting them. 🤔

£36m. Other parties look on with envy. They know what the right thing is, the thing that supports democracy. Instead they strategise how to get crypto millionaires to donate as much to them.

Hmmmm, that's weird. This seems to have been buried in the news cycle. When this kind of thing has happened to other religious minorities in the UK, there have usually been instant COBR meetings and the prime minister has addressed the nation on TV. I'm sure they are getting round to it, though.

Farage's anger about "The" Establishment is really about "This" Establishment, which really has coalesced around preventing him and his ilk accessing state power. They long for the days when it sided (even more) with the rich and powerful and the working class had no rights at all.

I see Ann Widdecombe has died. When she was Home Secretary I showed her round Drake Hall womens’s prison. There was a pregnant woman on a bed in the early stages of Labour and she asked the prison officers why she wasn’t handcuffed to the bed. That’s the kind of woman she was.

I think a useful task for Prevent would be to infiltrate our media and find out why so many bright-eyed young journalists eager to speak truth to power end up as reactionary establishment shills after a few years. Now there's radicalisation.

The "Establishment" of course is not one thing...it has parts, and the effectiveness of any part is dependent on the amount of power it can access, in public or private, to influence and shape the decisions and lives of the powerless majority. Farage forms part of it, once powerful and now.. 1/2

The wheel spins as it should.
A citizen's worth is what he gives to the market. The state only exists to make the economy function. Within that construct, there is no space for the common welfare, no forbearance, no compassion, no structures for aid or self-development. There is only a dark mythology about pulling yourself up by your bootstraps and the triumph of the wilfully sovereign individual.

Blair's biggest, and most unacknowledged betrayal was deceiving working class people into supporting a Labour Party that, to this day, works harder for the wealthiest and the most privileged than it does for ordinary people. The war crime was a consequence of that betrayal.
