The only decision you want people to have to make is whether they’re interested in your project- not whether your post is about a stage show, a live-streamed D&D game, a comic-con panel, a podcast etc. Confusing people does not make them curious unfortunately. One communications thing my nerd creatives could really benefit from is more concrete language. Even your own audience needs you to describe your project simply and clearly enough that two people would picture the same thing. Every time! I promise it is not as clear as you (the poster) think it is.

People I love who rely on genAI are becoming strangers to me. More irritable, paranoid, and more closed minded if not outright bigoted. I miss them. An aspect of cognitive decline we could be talking about way more tbh.

a lesson from experience design sums up why I have no interest in cozy games: An experience without challenge isn’t about story. It’s about service. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that cozy games are almost exclusively about customer service, or that we’re being sold a dream of labor.
