The weird thing about folks getting into AI is how adamant they are that you try it too. The obsessive energy of it feels like substance addiction. It’s all about the Hype & ‘doing what everyone else is doing’ eg ‘don’t be left behind’. Reminds me of being peer pressured into trying dr*gs.

Love this! Art materials are meant to be used! Yes, even the good stuff. ESPECIALLY the good stuff. Nothing is "too good" or "too nice" to use. Break in that nice sketchbook, use the nice paper, open the good paints. Don't put it on the high shelf and deprive yourself of enjoying art supplies.
