Heads-up on PPSSPP. Info in the thread on the last versions that don't contain it. The dev has gone off the deep end into Claude is my best friend territory.

There's currently a User Survey from Playstation asking how you feel about the brand. If you're someone upset about the potential move to all-digital (even for the PS5 which is still an active system) or something else. I would recommend filling this out. Link Below (1/2)

I am not going to bat for the last of us but at least recognize that this isn't about Neill Druckmann and is instead from the director who left the studio right after that game, hasn't been involved in anything else from them, and is currently making an Ico-like where you play as an elderly woman

seeing some posts around about Dusklight being an ai port, i'd appreciate it if people stopped spreading misinfo or taking various discord messages out of context. Dusklight does not rely on ai, and is stated as such in the readme. any third-party fork/mod that uses ai is unrelated to us

nintendo to recreate plato's cave by putting their fans in a cave where they watch fake smash trailers for the rest of their lives while the rest of people enjoy samus' dine and shinespark

Second attempt at loading file worked fine. So all is well, but it was pretty cool and weird

I load my save file and samus appears in a totally black room. I tried moving and it immediately crashed and had reboot the system

Fun fact: this is not a festival, not even a 3rd party one, this is a curator and they have tried to make the page look as much like a festival as possible They have to lie, they're always lying, if they don't lie nobody buys their shit If AI is so good, if it's the inevitable future, why lie?

Wilds era was obviously meant to be a unionfiication of the separate timelines as they all fade into legend. It’s pretty neat in my opinion

I mean this was pretty obvious, hyrule at this point has been destroyed and rebuilt multiple times. So it being gone for a really long time before being founded again isn’t really surprising.

Maybe it’s a koei tecmo related since the only other Nintendo game to do this is pokopia, a gamefreak and kt joint game. Regardless, it’s very weird.

"this looks visually unappealing" vs "this looks like the output of a machine that steals and is killing people" one is either a taste thing or a mistake, depending the other is calling into question the artist's entire creative ouput and moralizing because you don't want to defend your position

From what I found on the eshop is that if you put the cart in system, update it to the latest version, open the game, and select proceed to eshop it should be there.

i think ocarina of time 2026 looks great but i don’t think i have the stomach to deal with years of discourse about it’s scope as a remake it’s only gonna get worse when they inevitably remake majora’s mask again too how many times can people have the same conversation as oot3d/mm3d ad nauseam

a pencil drawing recreating the ending of drakengard's ending E where there is a gigantic woman made of salt towering over a grey tokyo. also banjo and kazooie are there and kazooie is asking if this is the land of the gods.
