Recently finished Dino Crisis and then decided to try Regina but it took longer than I thought to finish...

Finished my re-playthrough of Dino Crisis today! ✅ This game was such a blast to replay. It brought back so many fond childhood memories!

There's currently a User Survey from Playstation asking how you feel about the brand. If you're someone upset about the potential move to all-digital (even for the PS5 which is still an active system) or something else. I would recommend filling this out. Link Below (1/2)

I’ve fully excepted that PS6 will be Digital-Only. However, I still hope that they perhaps extend PS5 Disc Manufacturing. Still odd as hell to me to cut out a selling point/feature for a console that isn’t “dead” yet.

Jawmuncher @jawmuncher.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I’m a big fan of CE’s that don’t include the game. As it allows both Disc & Digital owners to get extra goodies. BUT That sure as hell doesn’t apply to a digital-only game where the CE contents are being sold at a 300% Markup.

VR Ace Attorney? Rad! VR Ace Attorney being Dual Destinies which is IMO, the weakest of the entire series? No Thanks.

These mergers come across as getting ready to sell off different arms, though that would at least keep people in jobs for the most part I hope. Can’t believe things didn’t pan out for Ninja Theory. This isn’t even the end of layoffs either for Xbox

Destiny fans bring up wanting 3 or at least more content for 2. Get their wish. So that must mean Physical enjoyers are going to see PS5 New Disc Production extend past 2028 right?!

Just saw Zach Creggar’s Resident Evil Absolutely loved it. The film captures the perfect blend of horror, action, & comedy we’ve seen throughout the entire series. While also capturing the essence of a first time playthrough only a fan would know from the games. A must watch.

Bonus!! Dino Crisis 2 on PC! I like having options when it comes to games~ Did You Know: Dino Crisis (the first one) almost came out on Gameboy Color as well as its releases on PS1 and PC? It got cancelled but I think a handheld Dino Crisis would’ve been cool 😎 👌

Please don't miss out on some peak horror if you're a Resident Evil fan who wanted something different. Go into the film as it being a new entry in the series. It's not going to adhere to all the rules the series has but some of the best games in the franchise didn't either.

Bro I need Stephen to stop playing with my emotions. This is like the third time Night Dive has said they’re interested and I want to believe. With that said, it does feel like we’re in a period where Nintendo asking Night Dive to remaster it isn’t a stretch.

Not including the Kotone route in the P3 Remake was easily that games biggest fumble. Like I get it, the scope/budget likely didn’t allow for it but the comments and the reaction to this say it all

Bruh, what is going on over at PlayStation. The fact Kojima just came right out and called them out is wild. Unsure why PlayStation’s current move is to just piss off everyone they work with.

For those jumping into Dino Crisis 2 for the first time, be aware that it's "Action" over "Survival Horror" Also be aware that it's also essentially "Stand-Alone". So if you didn't jive with DC1, I would still recommend checking out DC2! It's basically a Platinum Game on PS1!

Is this the only Sega title that works with Disc to Digital on Xbox? It might also be the only 360 title that works as well. Virtua Fighter 2 is a very unique Xbox Physical release as it’s a Xbox 360 game printed to an Xbox One disc.

Jawmuncher @jawmuncher.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

It’s wild going back to Gen 7 (PS3/360) games and seeing what did and didn’t support 4:3 during a transitionary period. Condemned 2 is a 2008 game that’s basically impossible to read on a 4:3 CRT. While Wolverine: Origins released in 2009 and supports 4:3 just fine

Jawmuncher @jawmuncher.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Thrift Store had a copy of Halo 2 for GFWL. Noticed it has a sticker on the rating and was confused about why it had to be “re-rated”. Went down a rabbit hole where the reason was that one of the devs put a picture of their ass in the games files lol.

Nice to see the reception of Persona 3 Reload being full-price seemingly played a factor here. One of the best ways to sell a late port is to launch at a reduced price. Since even if it’s full MSRP on other platforms, consumers know it has been on sale numerous times already.

Jawmuncher @jawmuncher.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I love you Double Fine But this feels like the kind of project that should’ve been pitched while you were still at Microsoft? I don’t think the fans can pull this off unless Jack Black pulls off some kind funding with outside producers lol.

Looks like this feature is up, and games are starting to be tested (looks like we won’t get a list from MS). Some info I’m seeing - Capcom titles are open - Sega is blocking a lot of titles - Some delisted titles DO work, such as Deadpool & Transformers Devastation

Sadly, Prey 2 doesn’t seem like it’s part of this leak. Would’ve been very interested in seeing that game in some form, considering the corporate sabotage it went through that prevented its release.
