I don't know who needs to hear this, but the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation is not the same as the Gulf Stream and there is absolutely no chance the Gulf Stream will "collapse". If the AMOC collapses, that's a big problem for Greenland and the Norwegian Sea. 🧪

Our moral emotions don’t serve us very well when it comes to big picture issues. We should have been iterating on nuclear power generation for decades. Our assessment of risk was driven by emotion, we lost sight of the big picture, and now we are paying the price.
