Maybe that’s my problem? I’m so detached from the physicality of lichen (handling IT support for the labs) that the thought of lichen just fills me with despair that can only be soothed by reading deeply spiritual erotica about the Lords of Elysium maybe I should “touch grass”?

yay! so happy to have a break from lichen (boring) to read more excellent lichen based stories 👀

So sorry I’ve been soooo busy with the lichen side of things: but this is a fantastic bundle and buying it probably reduces the strain on the Elysian fan fiction archives (not that I’ve been able to keep up with that either 😭 lichen is such a bane!)

I spent the morning rocking out to this. It's a fun rock ballad that does for Eurydice and Orpheus what Hades Calculus does for Persephone. Some really fun Rush vibes and a real commitment to telling its own version of myth. I'm so glad it exists—thank you, @okadaizo.men!!!

🤯 Wow - that's also amazing :) Your Demeter work is fantastic :) @futchlightning.gunmetolymp.us can I petition to get Thaleia, Muse of Comedy changed to Thaleia, Muse of Amazingly Well Written Erotic Fan Fiction?

I have noticed, Lord, that in other pantheons she is regarded as a bit of comic relief (glances at the Norse)

Reminder that I am a humble archivist (and not writing any of the amazing literature myself) - if the author "BelovedDisciple" would like to make themselves know so we could shower them with praise for making the lichen umm interesting (might be a mild term) that would be lovely

Taking another pilot is a very excellent idea, it will lead to the creation of more entries in the Index Erotica (the lichen vats have so far generated no stories)

FAQ: The buttons for "Adrastus" x "Achillean" on the archive do not "do nothing": this selection collects your personal information then sends it to various members of the Twelve for further action - this is all covered in the terms and conditions (that you probably just clicked agreed and ignored)

Burgundy, as blood on the lip, champagne, as a lover’s breath. Maenads dancing between love and fury, to drums—the pulse of revelry and war, at the edge of the blade and the depth of the cup, for she, who watches, smiling, a crescent, mad moon.

If you ask for bread, the twelve will answer your prayers with bread, not stones: the Index Erotica prayed for erotica about Demeter and it has been delivered (and such a work!)

I agree - for all the themes of... umm... 'enhanced' sisterhood floating around @futchlightning.gunmetolymp.us / @broodingbutch.gunmetolymp.us - you have twins actually in that sort of relationship and no-one is writing about them. It's a real puzzler 🤔

- no holy tales involving Ares (likewise not here) - no holy tales involving Poseidon or Amphitrite (shocking that a no-one is writing about nereids: scales/tails/black octopus eyes and prehensile fronds in place of hair 😍🫣 - but I digress) - no holy tales involving @wisdom.gunmetolymp.us 👀

Glaring gaps in the Index Erotica so far - please correct me if I have missed any 🙏 - no holy tales involving @plantmommy.gunmetolymp.us (shocking!) -no holy tales involving @desire.gunmetolymp.us (even more shocking!) - no holy tales involving Hera or the Twins (they are not here on #GOsky)

I mean what's the point of doing all this lichen research and terraforming stuff when the other gods haven't done anything meaningful about the colossi? It really feels like that's the more important problem (also because it creates more erotica - no one has written lichen farming erotica (yet))

Look, part of the reason why it's been taking so longer to improve lichen yields *may* be because I'm diverting computing power away from genome sequencing and terraforming simulations (so boring!) to peek into over universes and see what the shadows cast by our gods are doing -

Thaleia, Muse of Amazingly Well Written Erotic Fan Fiction @thaleia.gunmetolymp.us · 16/12/2024

ummm.... yeah a self-insert fan fic along the lines of "Consecrated by the Bank of River Lethe" involving @plantmommy.gunmetolymp.us would definitely sway my vote (and probably rewrite my brain chemistry permanently)

My most important duty according to my mysterious benefactor - definitely not Aphrodite😉 - is to keep track of the Erotica written about the gods: "the stories people tell of the gods today become commonplace tomorrow, become ritual the next, become faith in time." So we present the Index Erotica:
