Someone recently said to me that things will get worse before they get better, but that is not true. There is no guarantee that anything gets better. Things can just continue getting worse and worse. I can't stop thinking about that today.

Happy 5th birthday to Pearl!! She filled my nest when it was empty and kept those long Covid days filled with love and laughter. She was way better than sourdough bread. I've been lucky enough to have many great dogs in my life, but this chucklehead is something extra special.
