Is this statue at the game awards thing just a hype piece paid by Sony for the Saros game?

Kirby Air Riders ISNT perfect. The game tries so sooo hard to make you swap off of compact star at the start of city trial when we all know it’s the unspoken rule to keep it the whole match through the stadium event. I have Sakurai’s number.

Testing Triangles @testingtriangles.bsky.social · 20/11/2025

I’ve been playing Air Riders all day and it’s everything I’ve ever wanted and more from a sequel. Sakurai stays the goat.

Every review for Kirby Air Riders is null and void because it was made for ME

It has Kirby air ride. Of course I have the champagne ready.

Come on. Cold open your mid-budget indie RPG with ninety minutes of unskippable slice-of-life bullshit where you can't even save your progress because there's some diegetic reason why save points don't exist until after the inciting crisis hits. You know you want to.

Hate to see all of the gaming adjacent content creators not have literally any of their content being pushed lately. It’s incredibly demoralizing.. considering I’m about to put out a 2.something hour long video lol. Thankfully I do this part time and for fun but still it’s like… gross

Apropos of nothing I’ve been getting back into Deadlock. The new characters have bought so much life back into the game. Combine that with the updated map design and swap from 4 to 3 lanes, things feel fantastic. Match length has also gotten much more consistent to about 30 mins. Just a good time.

41 pages. It’s done. My longest script to date. This will be some feature length shit. The video will be released next Friday.

I am planning one more video for the year that will release on September 12th - the start of series-spanning Borderlands retrospective! Life is changing for me and I will release a separate video to accompany the borderlands 1 retrospective to cover some BTS stuff on why the channel is changing.

NEW VIDEO! In which I consider, as the games explain them, the rules of one of Metal Gear Solid's foundational storytelling tools—the codec. The resulting thought experiment goes some places, exploring how we think about games relative to other art, because of course it does. Hope you enjoy it!

Went to a mall for the first time in a few years and it’s amazing how half of the stores are just cheap temu flip stores or ai generated slop shirt factories. At least auntie Anne’s still delivers the goods.
