Is this statue at the game awards thing just a hype piece paid by Sony for the Saros game?

Apropos of nothing I’ve been getting back into Deadlock. The new characters have bought so much life back into the game. Combine that with the updated map design and swap from 4 to 3 lanes, things feel fantastic. Match length has also gotten much more consistent to about 30 mins. Just a good time.

DanDaDan Evil Eye was fun! But don’t go see it. Yes - it’s more peak. But is it $20 at your local cineplex peak? Eh. It’s literally just early access for season 2 with a 30 minute recap of season 1.

Finished watching friendship. The movie version of “the social situation can and will get worse” and it’s so fucking funny. It’s a film that benefits immensely from limited size viewing parties.

Finally watched the Minecraft movie. It sucked in probably the best way possible - almost like a film straight out of 2002? Jennifer Coolridge playing her usual self and Jason Mamoa playing a down on his luck loser just help to sell that feeling even more. Just straight dumb (really dumb) fun.

I’ve been highly debating a Last of Us Part 2 revisit on pc. I enjoyed it thoroughly when I played it back in 2020 and maybe some discourse on the channel would be good. 😏

Incredibly jealous of everyone that gets to experience xenoblade X for the first time on switch. I remember playing it in college on my WiiU and it’s an experience etched into my brain. The world of Mira is so fascinating and fun to explore. I can’t wait to jump back into it on switch eventually.

A tornado passed through Missouri last night. We got some superficial damage to the house with shingles and side paneling but otherwise okay. However many are still without power and resources. I’ve made a donation to Missouri Red Cross to support the effort. Might set up a fund raiser later.

There it is. 10k subs. Pretty crazy considering I started 9 months ago. Thanks to everyone for watching and supporting. It’s been a lot of fun and I love doing this. Hope to hit 20k by the end of the year lol.

I’ve been staying away from reviews and coverage for Avowed as I’ve been playing at risk of it alienating my thoughts. But I think with time, people will look back on this game VERY fondly after Elder Scrolls 6 inevitably disappoints. Because let’s be real - it will.

I made a video about this with the same sentiment. Valve are clearly spreading themselves too thin and every online game they produce suffers as a direct result. Can’t help but think of this meme to discuss exactly the feeling.

Installed and Played Kingdom Come 2 for about 4 hours. Clearly not your run of the mill open-world game. It’s alien but at the same time inviting. It’s a world that operates on strange rules that I am still coming to terms with. Very excited to see where it goes.

Bought and played all of Citizen Sleeper 1 in a massive 12 hour session. Incredibly well written prose and crazy addictive. It feels very indicative of the immigrant experience, or leaving an old life behind for a new one. Brilliant game and can’t wait to play the sequel.

Huge reviews out for kingdom come 2 today which baffles my brain. The people yearn for the high fidelity 80s coded western rpg apparently.

Watched all of Severance in one sitting. Great show from start to end. Shocking, thrilling - genuine and genuinely insane performances the whole way through. Tramell Tillman as Milchick was a personal favorite. Glad I don’t have to wait that long for season 2!

Thank You to everyone who has shown Testing Triangles support and generosity over the previous 7 months. It’s all been so overwhelming and I’d never imagine myself in this position as a fresh faced YouTuber. I will be back in earnest in January and with more videos and topics. Thanks again!!!!!!
