OK. I've been here for 10 minutes or so - my quota. Wishing ya'll a great weekend ahead! 🙋‍♀️🙏

No worries. I don't think I've logged in for months. Couldn't log in, I should say.

Alexa is almost completely useless. It was so annoying we got rid of ours nearly 5 years ago and opted for the Google Home Nest (don't know what it's called now) which has been great

Terri Nakamura @terrinakamura.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

Gads, you guys. It's harder than heck signing in here, which is one of the reasons why I show up so rarely. (I had to search for myself to get to my account to log in.) I asked Chat GPT to help devise a feeding schedule "DIET" for our 2 chubby, free-feeding, almost grown kittens....🐈‍⬛🐈

Sorry for the long delay, @skyflower.bsky.social . I hope you're forgive my late reply. Nice to connect here and thank you! Cheers!

Terri Nakamura @terrinakamura.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

Thanks! Of COURSE I remember you, @ninibaseema.bsky.social! Wow, we go back a long time. Nice to see you here. I spent a lot of time here when I first started, but there were so few people. I didn't want to abandon other platforms where my friends and connections were more active (& plentiful!)

Thanks, @jkatzaman.bsky.social for the mention and apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately I'm not very active here right now. Lots of IRL stuff going on! Warm ((HUGS))

Justine, I call that "Ballsy Ragu," named after a friend named Ball, who threw all kinds of gutsy ingredients into bottled spaghetti sauce to make it great. Over the years "Ballsy Ragu" came to mean "fearless." Twitter was my first love. I may let it go dormant, but don't think I can euthanize it.

We are long, long overdue for a video chat. The year is ending soon, so let's shoot for the beginning of 2025, okay?

Terri Nakamura @terrinakamura.bsky.social · 16/12/2024

Do we know each other on Twitter 🐦X, IG📸, Goodreads📚 or elsewhere? If you followed me and I haven't followed back, it may be because I don't recognize your Bluesky name. I apologize if we haven't yet connected. If it's not too much trouble, could you send a DM so I know? Many thanks & ((hugs)) 🤗

Thanks for understanding. For the past 10 years or so I have focused on mentions and retweets, so I'm insulated & don't see the toxicity. It's only present if you follow a lot of opinionated people or spend too much time perusing the public timeline. Happy holidays to you and T 🎄❤️

The idea of abandoning Twitter after 15 years is percolating, but not likely to happen in the near future. I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving 🦃

Terri Nakamura @terrinakamura.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

All I know is, IG randomly punished me three times for posting comments that were deemed unsafe for the community. My comments were innocuous and made to real-life friends and family. The imposed "timeouts" were total BS, and caused anxiety, so I took nearly a half a year off.

Guys, so many people helped me get my Twitter back when it was hacked this spring. I'm grateful to them so I feel kinda need to maintain my account there.. I hope to spend more time here, & apologize if a lot of time goes by where I don't see or engage with your posts. Warm ((HUGS)) & thanks!
