I refer to the reward from Dawntrail as the "Thavnairian Dunce's Cap" because I wasted so much time and effort all for a stupid looking hat glamour. At least the Outrunner looks cool and has funny little animations, but I'm so fucking tired of Solution Nine, man...

Lv 100's a good place to stop doing this to myself every expac. There's way too many jobs in FFXIV now and it took me 2 years to get em all capped. The reward in ShB is still one of my faves but the EW made me feel like an idiot. The DT reward... is fine. I was over it in less than five minutes. 😅

Flower sheep 💐🐑 #art

A collection of illustrations featuring various breeds of sheep, including gute, valais blacknose, and merino. They are all either wearing flowers on their wooly coats or eating them, enjoying the company of butterflies. They're having a lovely time out together!

I can't thank @warawaserareru.bsky.social enough for this INCREDIBLE splash art of Lily mixing up some magical surprises at the bar! The level of detail they put into this is absolutely mind-blowing, and I absolutely love how the whole thing ends up in the shape of a butterfly. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Elaborate gacha character style artwork depicting a blonde-haired lalafell woman wearing blue and black techwear. She is holding a neon futuristic butterfly shaped book that is open with blue butterflies spilling out of it, and reaching out her other hand to another larger blue butterfly in the foreground. She has an open-mouthed joyful expression on her face. The backdrop shows a bar and blue velvet curtains, and the overall composition of the image is in the shape of a butterfly.

#xivwomenweek - an idea I had all the way back when playing the heavensward patches, which I finally cleaned up.

Ysayle and the Word of the Mother are floating in front of the giant crystal, shown in silhouette (Ysayle in blue, Minfilia in pink) and then again as close crops of their faces with details drawn in. Ysayle looks excited, Minfilia looks pained.
Word of the Mother: Oh, child of Hydaelyn… How I have let you down. I wish I could have met you.
Ysayle: Mothercrystal… You are meeting me now!
A hazy sepia toned panel of Minfilia in the solar, cut off above her eyes, is inset.
Minfilia: I meant… as myself.

Bumble shark with bonus wooden standee 🐝 #art

An illustration of a bumble shark (bumblebee-shark hybrid), a creature that has the fuzziness of a bumblebee while retaining the body shape of a shark. It has six fins, a brown-and-yellow striped body, antennae, and wings. She is flying happily in front of lots of flowers pollinators love: sunflowers, lavender, carnations and daisies, in a little scene reminiscent of spring. Some colourful petals have fallen to the ground, and some very tiny bumblebees are also pollinating the flowers.

The same artwork made into a wooden standee.

I know most of you guys don't go on the other app but the pope posted an anti AI/ pro artists statement yesterday, and the ensuing cope and memes is really funny

Pope Leo XIV
@Pontifex

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

2016: I will never fight a holy war

2019: Pope Leo I am ready launch me towards the nearest data center

some AI guy saying he makes christian children's books with AI asking the pope if that is ok then and someone posting a meme react with the pope holding a baseball bat saying 'did I stutter'

Illustration of the person resembling Ysayle that shows up in a flash during patch 7.56 of Final Fantasy XIV. They have their eyes closed and a serene expression, with their hair flowing into the wind. The background is a blue sky and, at the bottom, a sea of clouds permeates it. The texture of the piece is made to callback to weaving, with it either slowly falling apart or reassembling at the seams.
