A little sneak peek of something I'm working on.
Three drawings of Lewis, a robot with shiny lens eyes, showing his head at various angles and with his visor shown in its raised and closed positions.

I know the Mertzs are listed for this, but let's be real: Lucy was the wacky neighbor, and the Mertzs were just popping in to see what else she'd get up to.

I have a Pinterest board called "Intriguing Literature" that's just a collection of college textbooks on various subjects that I would like to one day maybe read and study. It contains over 1.3k pins, every book is nearly $50+, and I have no idea how I'm going to deal with it all.

I tried to think of the most American meal to served @catarsisol.satan.social and I for the 4th of July. I wonder if I went a little overboard...
It's possibly the most fancy American dish: seared steak on a bed of mashed potatoes, with steamed carrots, green beans, and Brussels sprouts. Yes, everything is seasoned properly.

Nothing better than having a buns match in Dead by Daylight, only to get chewed out by a TTV with 11 viewers for being bad at the game. Like, I know you've got 2500 more hours than me, but I've got WAY more chill than you. Just move on to the next match.

I don't care if it's trending at #2 on Bluesky right now; I seriously doubt RadarOnline is a credible enough source to believe that CBS wants to hire Joe Rogan for 60 Minutes. That's supermarket tabloid bullshit right there.

CBS cancelled Colbert; NBC is cancelling 8 shows... At this point, I'm wondering if the major networks should just go the MeTV route and show reruns of their best shows instead. It'd have the same cultural impact. Maybe slightly better.

Statements like this (from Rosenbaum) are intentional propaganda. There are no working writers today who do not know how much the majority of their peers are revolted by the use of this technology. The goal of stating things like this is to convince the general populace that it is normalized.

Our entire economy is being artificially propped up by astrology for men: AI, crypto, sports betting, and prediction markets. It's an economy shaped entirely by male insecurity and lack of impulse control, and we'll all pay the price.

So, I'm making a pot roast, and I like to include red wine with the beef broth. I couldn't find the little bottles of merlot I normally use, so I got this cheapo can of Pinot noir to use. I'm not a big fan of drinking dry reds straight up, so I gave it a taste. Didn't like it. 😖

I'm not very good at collating the data I already know, so I do not know just how much I know. I'm always constantly learning, and the more I learn, the less I know. So I've decided that the truth is that I know nothing, and I am content with knowing nothing as long as I keep learning everything.

So, Bondi doesn't look like she's nervous at her hearing. To me she looks annoyed, like being asked a slew of intense questions about Epstein is an inconvenience. Hell, every time I see her she's bald faced lying with a straighter face than anybody I've ever seen. So I ask: is she a psychopath?

Superficial charm also helps a narcissist lower the defenses of the people with whom they interact. Every criminal narcissist over the age of 35 that I have known (dozens over my >30 year career in criminal law) is personally charming. By 35, non-charming narcissists are either dead or in jail.

I loved Urkel as a kid. I felt like his sci-fi hijinks improved what to me was a really boring show, and I'd tune in every Friday because of it. So as an adult, it stings a LOT realizing that so many people hate him because he essentially ruined "Family Matters". I mean, I agree. It's just... damn.

My husband, @catarsisol.satan.social, designed a cyclical calendar for me to follow to help me organize my year and keep track of what's happening. I love it so much!
It's a screenshot of an Excel document designed to resemble a cyclical calendar. It is colored in two different blue tones: a darker blue to represent that we are in the first quarter of of the calendar year, and a lighter blue to represent the season of Spring.

Generative AI has filled me with such loathing I don't know if I can even appreciate CGI as much as I used to. The Luddite in me wants to go back to the days of movies having practical effects; things with true artistry that look like you can actually interact with them, because they ARE real.
