I really really hate how trailers seem to be something that completely sinks an animated film So many great gems get sidelined even by animation fans because "ehh the trailer was annoying", I wish people gave animation a chance

@lance28.bsky.social and I just saw #ForgottenIsland, and HOO BOY the trailers did not do a good job of setting it up. They feel like they were advertising a whole different iteration, like an earlier draft. The film as it is now is so freaking GOOD though, it honestly feels undersold! Go see it!
