2025 Wrapped
Jan - After querying a decade and receiving two offers of representation, I signed with FinePrint Literary Management.
Feb - I revised THESE WILTED BONES, then went on submission to publishers. Additional rounds of revision followed, per feedback from editors.
Mar - I wrote a beat sheet for THE CROOKED JACKAL, a reimagining of the first book I wrote 15+ years ago. I began drafting the first chapter.

2025 Wrapped
May - I began writing THE CROOKED JACKAL in earnest, with the goal to finish by the end of the summer.
Sep - I finished a rough draft of THE CROOKED JACKAL and submitted it to my agent.
Oct - I received agent feedback and began the next round of revisions for THE CROOKED JACKAL.

Nov - I shared THE CROOKED JACKAL with more betas and critique partners.
Dec - I began drafting beat sheets for new projects.

How did I choose the title?

The title of this book holds two meanings.

On the surface, THE CROOKED JACKAL is the name of a brothel, which serves as headquarters for a mafia subgroup.

On a deeper level, THE CROOKED JACKAL takes on new meaning toward the end of the book, the details of which I won’t spoil.
