The "other" Chow on the ballot, Braeden Chow, is a bit of an enigma. The website lists an email address that starts with "therealchow4mayor", and the listed address is also linked to a newly formed corporation that bills itself as a charitable "foundation".

When leftist leaders manage to get elected they all face the same, nearly insurmountable. Right-wing leaders get years to screw stuff up, but if leftists don’t make massive, obvious improvements in short order they get tossed.

Man. Sad remarks from a director of SCOOB! HOLIDAY HAUNT, the third completed movie WB cancelled for a tax break on a post about Pam Abdy and Michael De Luca's ouster, saying they were responsible along with Zaslav for shelving the movie and Abdy only called him after the news leaked on Twitter.

Hey let's not pour salt on the wounds, it's tough all over.

mkurinsky: absolutely not. i have struggled both financially and with my mental health since they cancelled my movie. They will leave with lucrative exit packages. I was let go from WB told that there was no longer a place for me there after 7 years. No exit package. They deserve a little salt.

mkurinsky: she, Michael Deluca and David Zaslav were the ones directly responsible for the decision to shelve Batgirl and SCOOB Holiday Haunt. They WERE Warners pictures at that point and that was one of their very first decisions in their new positions after Discovery bought WB. And I wasn't told to my face. I found out on TWITTER first. Then by phone call. All I said was "it hurts, doesn't it" .... Because it does.

CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1965: 20-1 CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1990: 75-1 CEO-to-worker pay ratio today: 325-to-1 Trickle-down economics was always a sham. Nothing has ever trickled down.

I feel like the debate about what parts of AI are good and what parts are bad should wait until we solve the worldwide crisis caused by the fact that almost of all of its evangelists in both tech and govt are morally, intellectually, and ethically unequipped to oversee it, when not downright evil.

I've actually enjoyed the last few seasons and wondered why I never watched before (though I also remember them always having problematic stars and it seems less so since Disney+ seasons).

The 3rd piece, Auguries of Innocence by Jae Man Joo was pretty cool too, with some movements and choreo I'm not sure I've seen a ballet company do. (The first, a Balanchine, was great but his pieces are so precise that it's a bit unforgiving to any flaws or lack of complete unity but still great)

Yet again I find the audience's for dance/ballet here in London far younger than the usual auds in Toronto. Also, I assume many of these hot young fit men in the audience are other dancers? 👀

so after a pause, just picked up Role Model to finish my re-read and I was right where Coach Wiebe and the Centaurs owners backed Troy against the Commissioner. which, seems sadly timelier than ever right now. iykyk. anyways, white men, time to speak out against esSAying and be a role model.
