watched Up Against It, a very weird film in that it didn't feel weird at all despite zany comedic/morally questionable premise (part of the plot). Tonally a very adult broken family dramatic comedy that's both feelgood, a touch of Almodovar melodrama, cancer sadness film, but always felt mature.

Got to see Elsinore at #TIFF26 and this is not a slight but as Kate Winslet would say in Extras, this was made as Oscar bait. Brits, about acting, about the AIDS crises, about the theatre, with an insane cast lead by Andrew Scott.

That said, Universal doesn't come close to Disney here. Some great theming, especially Nintendo and wizard who shall not be named, but still not as magical as Disney parks. Unless they add something new, Universal Japan is sort of a one and done for me.

So Kimi Antonelli won! The Italian twink won the Italian Grand Prix! And I won just the most amazing trip and seats (despite the logistical nightmare getting to and from Monza is, but hey, Italian infrastructure and planning)

Ah Italia! A yearly event that's infamous for terrible event logistics and still as poorly planned as I've read from years prior. Only two exit points with transit for the entire racetrack and the train comes once an hour. And we didn't even stay until the end for today's events and it's like this

Pride the movie was great, but the musical, is very much a traditional British musical, and is very good and solid from the start. But it slowly builds and at some point strikes up into a beautiful musical that's just LOVE encapsulated.

After an almost 6hr flight delay, meaning I had about 2 hrs sleep before running to NT drenched wet in sweat, made it to Pride (a joy-filled new musical). More effort than getting to actual Pride. By the end, drenched wet in tears I couldn't, still can't stop, from flowing down by face.
