Its not even a tax on "millionaires". It's a tax *only* on income over $1,000,000. It does not apply to homes or net worth. There are a lot of people with a net worth above $1m who make nowhere near that much and won't be subject to it. It's literally like .5% of the taxpayers.

In March, Washington State passed a tax on millionaires to fund public education, childcare, and expand its earned income tax credit. Now, special interest groups backed by the rich are trying to trick voters into repealing the tax by claiming it will apply to non-millionaires. Don't fall for it.
