I’ll recommend a couple you probably haven’t heard of, The Neighborhood Listen with Paul F Tompkins and Nicole Parker. They play characters doing a show about posts on Nextdoor in a fictional town, many great guests, lots of big laughs from me.

Fun thing with this is while it's chiptunes sounding, it's also done on off my smartphone in Caustic 3.2. It has a nice little 8-bit synth and an easter egg drum/noise sample generator that make it a blast to make "impossible" chiptunes. Not for purists, but for a now free mobile DAW? awesome.

VPC8 — Vocalist Producer Challenge. Nerdcore hiphop competition where vocalists and producers battle across gameshow-style rounds.

You have to tap Quick Answer if you want an AI response, otherwise it’s hidden. I started off with the free tier to try it, then the $5 tier, then decided it was so good I was fine with the $10 plan. I was hesitant and skeptical at first, but it’s worth not seeing ads and trash tier results.

Also worth noting, their browser Orion is also great and I’ve replaced Safari with it. No extra steps for diverting searches to Kagi needed!

Kagi is far better than DuckDuckGo. I get the hesitation to pay but it’s a small price to pay for web search that actually works and doesn’t rely on ads or tracking to fund its operations.

Been using Kagi for months and is easily the best alternative I’ve tried. It’s not even close!

If you want to avoid this, I’ve been paying for Kagi the past few months and don’t regret it in the slightest. Every other alternative to google that I’ve tried for web search never hit the mark for me. Kagi is actually VERY good.

I’ve tried an “intelligent” noise gate that was supposed to function like discords excellent noise filtering but that’s only listening for any human voice, not one specific voice.

In your use case I’d look into lapel microphones. TBH though the only way to make sure you don’t ever trigger the talking on your avatars is isolation. I don’t believe there is a voice specific AI noise gate.
