my dad's recovery is going well, he's in way less pain and has even started spacing his meds farther apart. his crazy huge bruise is healing and he can get around the house just fine without help. i'm still handling the chores so he doesn't over-do it, but one day at a time we're getting there.

my dad's fever is gone, thank you lord jesus. he's stiff and has an insane bruise on his side but otherwise his pain is under control and he's in good spirits. i've got all the chores done, the cat box is fresh, there's donuts, i'm playing slay the spire. let's keep this up.

good news is my dad is acting a lot more normal today, definitely has his wits about him and his pain levels are still manageable, he even made himself something to eat without much issue earlier. bad news is he has a low-grade fever; 99.9 when we found it, now down to 99.3.

doesn't seem like we'll need to take my dad to the ER tonight, he's still doped up but is a lot more coherent than he was earlier; not having trouble putting his sentences together and has perfectly good memory recall, which wasn't the case a few hours ago. shit's scary, man.

dad is WAY less coherent on the pain meds toady, way more drugged up, slow speech, can't stay awake, it's very different from yesterday. we're holding off on his next few doses until he has his wits about him. makes me uneasy for it to be so different from before, but hopefully it's nothing.

today was a lot easier than yesterday, my dad's pain levels were way down and he had a much better time getting in and out of bed. hard to know if he's improving or if it's just the painkiller cocktail doing a better job, but he suffered less and that's what matters. praying tomorrow goes this well.

yesterday morning my dad lost his balance on the porch, fell backward into the yard and broke two ribs. he's going to be okay, but recovery is expected to take six to eight weeks and he's in tremendous pain. still, grateful it wasn't worse. all prayers/thoughts/vibes/etc are sincerely appreciated 🙏

Well that depends on your definition of AI slop. Is it AI on the MiSTer pretending to be a DVD Player? No. It is a fully functional stand-alone DVD Player that AI helped make. I have spent probably 30 hours plus on this project. It's not a one prompt kind of thing
